Response from the University of Carabobo to the letter of the day April 12, 2010

Today Tuesday May 18, 2010, we received the formal response University of Carabobo to our request on 12 April 2010, where Dr. Loyo of Sardi Yaqueline informs us of the creation of a multidisciplinary committee of researchers from the University that will address the scientific and technical study of water consumed in the great Valencia.

The commission, which will be released publicly in the coming weeks, consists of researchers at the Environmental Technology Laboratory (LABTA) and Chemical Research Center, Faculty of Engineering, Laboratory of Physical Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology FACYT, the Center for Environmental Microbiology, Faculty of Science FCS Health, Center for Toxicological Research (CITUC), Research Centre and representatives of Hidrocentro INFAC.

From the Movement for Water Quality welcome the responsible attitude of the University of Carabobo to assume their role as academic leader of the region and take responsibility to scientifically analyze the current state of pollution water in the aqueduct of the Central Regional System, giving it the first step to elucidate the many current concerns about the quality of our water.

also urge the committee to consider the work done by independent researchers and the allegations that they have been doing in recent months, so that it can serve as the substantive elements of the work to be done. We sincerely wish him every success in fulfilling their duty and look forward to the progress of their investigations.
