Ugarte said the government authorized the Ministry of Health to buy drugs oncology at the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) to provide the market with quality products and fair prices. "We can not have drugs such as goserelin have a margin of 360%. PAHO purchases end up with such abuse and help promote competition, since we import other medications that have the same property to fight prostate cancer or any other type of cancer, without affecting existing patents, "he told El Comercio Minister Ugarte. He added that through a supreme decree to be issued in the coming days all state health agencies will be forced to join the corporate procurement of medicines order to reduce costs.
But perhaps the most ambitious measure that lists the possibility of parallel imports under cover of a WTO rule.
